Three of these engine types (known internally as E3-55kW and T4F – 78 and 82kW) use ECUs. The T4F engines also implement a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The T4F exhaust fluid treatment system is controlled by the ACU. HYMH has provided for the eventuality that these ECUs may need updates (may need to be programmed / reprogrammed) in the field. Kubota’s standard programming system is a part of their “Diagmaster” toolset, and uses a specialty CAN adapter. To allow reprogramming to be done on HYMH trucks with our standard Ifak CAN interface, special software was developed.

The use of this software requires that a compatible release of Ifak software has been installed on the PC used for truck programming, and verified to work correctly. The version of the compatible release is v5.3. Ensure that this is installed and operating correctly. Programming also requires an adapater cable, HYMH part number 8808110.
